| Nino's Restaurant |
203-775-2191 |
|
 |
Opened Sept. 28 2001. Serves Italian dishes and pizza. The owner Nino and Christine Camaj also own two other places so they know the business. The restaurant has about 11 tables and 3 for pizza. If you come on a Friday it may be busy so order ahead of time. It is located right by Candlewood Lake about 3-4 miles from Stew Leonards. Make a left at Michael's and go up the hill and follow it and you will see it on your right in a small shopping center.

Take out...which probably accounts for a lot of their business, isn't so good. Counter people are a little...ahhh...shall I say short? Or actually I probably mean rude/uncaring.
Food also isn't up to par. Salad's to-go made the day before and virtually no dressing except a 1/2 ounce container.
I love the location(it's virtually a walk)...and wish it would return to earlier days...quality food and quality people.
FYI - I've ordered pizza there a dozen times...probably the worst I've ever had. |

If food could ever be so good it would be at Nino's!...Nino's has delicious dishes that just say "GREAT!" I loved the pizza and the Surf and Turf! I am a local and I believe the food was great. I'll be back there again real soon. The service is great. The owner was very funny and pleasant I hope them the best of luck and I'll be their #1 customer! |
