I grew up in Southeast Idaho, and as a kid, any kind of pizza was good. I mean ANY kind, including those cardboard excuses for a pizza you can get in the grocer's freezer.
Then I grew up.
As I was attending college, I took a job at La Pizzeria to help pay some of the bills. I learned how to roll the edges, place the ingredients and bake pizza. I also got to eat for free every day.
Now I'm living in Utah, working for some dot-com and I miss La Pizzeria. I miss the Pizza, the Calzones and most especially the Bambinos. (On a trip to Idaho once, I bought several dozen and froze them for the trip home, but they're better fresh) My wife and I have tried all sorts of Pizza places here in a vain search for darn good pizza. The one place we've found with tasty pizza is also quite pricy. |
