I used to work there. I don't know how someone can say that. Every waitress there is sweet and the pizza is amazing. |

Never ever will I set foot in a Geno's East restaurant! They have to be the rudest wait staff in the restaurant business. After seeing the restaurant on the travel channel I was very excited to eat there. After all it is suppose to be the best pizza in the whole country!! What a joke!! Don't waste your time going there. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but ended up leaving before out food came out. |

I don't care how good the pizza is... I had a nightmare time at Gino's East this past Sunday evening. I will never go back, ever, and I will tell every person I meet this story.
The place was packed and there was one server. In an effort to get out of there faster, I went to the bar to pay.
The employee at the bar area took my money and continued to chat to his buddy on the phone. After several minutes I asked for my change. He handed it to me, finally, with some snide comment and as I walked away said into the phone, "I hate these "#$%&*" customers." I walked back to him, saying are you talking about me? And he simply went off on me.. telling me to get the "#$%^" out of the restaurant, that I have no right to harass the help, that he can talk to me however he wanted because "You ain't no "#$%&*" customer."
The entire restaurant saw and heard this. I was with a client and I was motified. The other staff scurried away and one even tried to get me to leave. Obviously, this guy routinely terrorizes everyone. I don't know who he is, just some nighttime help or the owner's son, but he was unbelievable.
So go elsewhere... Lou Malnoti's... Pizzeria Uno. They don't employ freaks. |

What happened to the famous crust. Who has taken charge of Gino's. I drive from Grand Rapids, MI to impress a visiting friend and was embarassed. Not only am I willing to spend for the best but I'll drive 4 hours to get it. How am I to know if the drive is worth it. |

Our family has been going to Geno's East once a month since they opened in Orland Park. Last night we went for our last pizza night at Geno's. The appetizer platter was much smaller than past servings (enough for my 2 year old). The Lite beer was flat at $8.75/pitcher. The service was sub-par. We informed the manager and he said he was sorry. We will be looking for another pizza place for our monthly night out. Geno's East in Orland is just another pizza joint. Too bad!! |
