We called to order and wanted our cold condiments for our hot sandwiches on the side and were told "they didn't have time for that right now but ok." |

I like to eat at the restaurant for the freshest, hottest pies. Right out of the oven, Amante pies are the best. The crust is no frills, yet tastes good, which is just the way we like it. They pile on the toppings, the veggies are fresh, and there are a lot of toppings to choose from. They don't aim for speed when creating your pies, but you can see the cooks cranking them out back there in the kitchen. When you go to the dining room, your order goes to the front of the line, too (ahead of deliveries)! It's not a full-service restaurant, but the counter workers are courteous enough to help you with whatever you need. Oh, and the dining room is a good size for a kid's birthday party, but when one's there, there's not much room for much else. Peppers downtown has great pizza, too, but that place is just plain dirty. |
