This may sound like a large lie, but it is true: I am the 12-year-old daughter of the original owner of the nine Wolfman Pizza restaurants. I am mainly regarding the first review on this webpage. I would like to tell the real story.
Yes, I would definitely agree that our pizza used to be absolutely wonderful. There was literally no one like us around. Our business was involved in a hostile takeover. The new owner has taken the cheap way out by not getting the good quality ingredients.
I like this because it's nice to see the guy that stole our business lose a ton of money and go down in smoke, but I hate how everyone thinks that we're the ones who did that. It's not true that the more restaurants you own the more you lose the value of the customer. That was never true. Please take that into consideration. I would love your feedback to this, so if you could e-mail me, I would really appreciate it. Thanx! |

The pizza is still the best ever, if you like hand tossed dough, and the toppings still made fresh daily. I worked for them for 11 years and have kept an eye on it. It is still as great as ever. |

I had the pleasure of eating at the first Wolfman Pizza, the second day they opened back in 1991. From the first bite, I was hooked. So naturally, when I found myself craving pizza tonight, my first thought was Wolfman. I hadn't had one in a while and ordered my favorite, a medium BLT for carryout. How terribly disappointing!
I became immediately suspicious when the weight of the box felt like the pizza was missing. Well, what was missing was the toppings. Barely enough bacon to sense a taste, five - yes - five pieces of spinach for a 7 slice, medium pizza, and a trace of tomatoes.
Well, needless to say, I will not be back. This was the best pizza at one time, well worth the price. Now? Now it seems management would rather skimp on quality, resulting in a below average product, nowhere close to the pizza I remember. I guess its true...increase locations, reduce quality. Oh well, it was good while it lasted but next time, I'll take my business elsewhere. |
