This little spot is a local favorite for my wife and me. We get an antipasta for two, and an entree each and the bill is only about $35 or so. The food is really excellent. There is a wide variety. I would eat here rather than many swank restaurants I have been to. The service is also very good: attentive but not intrusive. Sit on the side away from the pizza parlor - it is quieter and a bit fancier. The only weak spot is in the dessert department. They have 8 or 10 to pick from but they are the pre-made style offered by so many pizza places. But since we don't do dessert it's no problem. |

We have been to the Villa Rosa several times and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent, the food delicious, and the atmosphere wonderful! Whether having lunch or dinner, our menu choices have been delectable. |

Quick seating, friendly service, great food, nice ambience, BYOB and right around the corner. What more could you ask? Prices run the gamut and are only slightly higher than a franchise family restaurant. (But the food is much better!) Bread baskets and hearty portions ensure that you'll leave full. |

I have been a fan of Villa Rosa for years. Now that I work in the Ewing Township area, it's a regular lunch time spot for me. Their dining room service is good. The addition and remodeling makes the restaurant a great location for private dinners or small parties. |

At one time Villa Rosa made great pizza and produced very good pasta dishes with several good sauces. In addition their veal and chicken dishes were good. However, their prices were a bit on the high side for the quantity and average quality of the serving.
Since they have expanded their restaurant, the food has definately gone down hill both in quality, quantity and price.
Moral, if you are successful doing what you are doing. Don't do it on a larger scale unless you are sure that you can do it as well. |
